About The Campaign – Our challenge was to create an optimistic, conceptually and visually intriguing idea to launch. In BLACK LOVE IS, we highlighted 10 real-life experiences with Black Love in this multi-textural campaign film utilizing; 4K cinema-quality footage, “iPhone-quality” videos, intimate “analog/VHS” video entangled with both color & black & white portraiture to tell a series of modern Black Love stories represented honestly and authentically.

The Work – As treatment writer, my vision for BLACK LOVE IS was to build a vibrant tapestry of different modern cinematic styles creating a single short film rooted in the present and reminiscent of our protagonists' coveted past times & memories.
